The gesture drew attention because the two already shared a handover: Paolla led Grande Rio's drum section and passed the crown to Virginia in 2025. At the time, the actress said the cycle wasn't ending, just transforming.
With Virginia's reign over, Paolla returns to lead a drum section, now at a different school. Celebrities including Iza, Sabrina Sato, Viviane Araujo, Marina Ruy Barbosa and Camila Queiroz also commented on or reacted to the announcement.
