An abnormal PET scan, a nearly 2 cm mass removed from her intestine and a pending biopsy: a year after breast cancer, Val Marchiori asks for prayers — 'I feel all bruised'

Val Marchiori worried fans again on Saturday (10). Diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2025, the businesswoman said she was admitted to hospital on Thursday (8) for further tests after a PET scan showed an abnormality in her intestine. On Friday (9) she underwent a colonoscopy in which doctors removed a mass of almost two centimeters, which will now be analyzed to determine whether it is a polyp.

Still weak, she described the procedure on social media: 'It was a pretty nasty surgery, a really tough exam.' She added: 'It bled a lot, I'm still weak. I feel all bruised, sore, awful.' The hospital was not disclosed.

Val admitted she fears restarting the treatment she went through last year, when she cut her hair. 'Just thinking about having to do it all over again is desperate,' she said, before making an appeal: 'Pray for me, for God's sake. Now I'm here in faith, waiting for this biopsy and praying to God that it isn't a tumor.'
