Away from the 'Domingão' studio, Brazilian TV hosts Luciano Huck and Angélica retreat to one of Rio de Janeiro's most talked-about homes. The mansion sits in Joá, an exclusive seaside neighborhood, on a 4,000-square-meter lot with 1,500 square meters of built area and a panoramic view of Pedra da Gávea. Specialists estimate the property could be worth up to R$26.4 million. That is a market estimate, not a sale price.

It has 16 bedrooms, six of them suites, plus a cinema, a chapel, a pool, a game room, a barbecue area and a large garden blending into the Atlantic Forest. Large glass windows and double-height ceilings bring the landscape inside. Huck handled much of the decor: there are works by Sebastião Salgado, embroidered cushions from Hawaii, stools from Alagoas and a portrait of Angélica by Vik Muniz made from collages of magazine covers from her career. Reports also mention an open-air cinema in the garden and an ecumenical chapel for intimate celebrations.

The house has hosted celebrity year-end parties and even an international wedding: Madonna's manager Guy Oseary married model Michelle Alves there, with Madonna and Bono among the guests. It is also where the couple's three children, Joaquim, Benício and Eva, grew up. Angélica told Vogue the house was designed to bring the family together, with all the rooms close to one another, and that the couple prefers dinner at home to going out to parties.
