João Vitor Silva, who plays Rafael in Globo's telenovela 'Quem Ama Cuida', explained why he says little about his relationship with singer Iza. In an interview with the newspaper O Globo, the 30-year-old actor said the couple chose not to turn the romance into a show: 'We live a very glamorized life. Everything in our lives is already so exposed that we try to keep as much of what we're living as possible to ourselves.'

He said discretion is not the same as hiding. 'I fell in love with Isabela, she fell in love with me, and we're living this love,' he said, using Iza's given name. 'What matters is what we feel for each other.' The two got together at the end of 2025 and went public during Carnival 2026. Iza attended the premiere of his film 'Antártida', and he shows up at her concerts.

The actor is having a busy year: he is celebrating 25 years in the business, has 'Antártida' in theaters and released 'Cinco tipos de medo' and 'Deixa acontecer' in the first half of the year. At the end of October he appears in '100 dias', a Carlos Saldanha film, as Tymur Klink, brother of sailor Amyr Klink. 'I'm in a great moment,' he summed up.
