'My greatest project': Ivete Sangalo, Daniel Cady and boyfriend Tiago Maia gush over Marcelo on his 17th birthday

Marcelo, Ivete Sangalo's eldest son, turned 17 on Friday (Oct. 2) and got a heartfelt message from his mother on social media. The Brazilian star wrote that being 'born to love' alongside his arrival was decisive in her life and called raising him her 'greatest project'.

His father, nutritionist Daniel Cady, shared a video montage with his son and said he was moved to see 'the man' Marcelo is becoming, listing traits such as 'loving, polite, responsible' and 'generous'. Ivete and Daniel are also parents to 8-year-old twins Marina and Helena.

Businessman Tiago Maia, the singer's boyfriend and her first publicly confirmed relationship since the divorce, also went viral. He called Marcelo 'incredible' and 'funny' and wrote: 'You live in my heart, Marcelo.' In September, it was Marcelo who posted a birthday tribute to Tiago.
