'A beauty that hurts the eyes': Anitta swoons over Danilo Mesquita online, and the actor answers in kind

Anitta has once again fueled dating rumors with actor Danilo Mesquita. On Thursday (Oct. 1), he posted behind-the-scenes shots from a shoot, and the singer couldn't resist commenting: 'A beauty that hurts the eyes.' The Bahia-born actor returned the compliment, suggesting his looks were meant to match hers.

The two have been seen together since August, when they were spotted at a Djavan concert and leaving a bar in downtown Rio. Later that month, they shared their first public kiss at a Jau concert. On Sept. 20, they posed side by side for the first time at Anitta's coronation at the Grande Rio samba school in Duque de Caxias, where a video showed them kissing in a VIP box.

Despite increasingly open displays of affection, neither Anitta nor Danilo has officially confirmed the relationship. Known for telenovelas such as 'Segundo Sol', the actor even stepped away from shooting a Globo telenovela in Chapada Diamantina to join the singer at the samba school event.
