Vini Jr. extends Real Madrid contract through June 2032
The renewal ends lengthy talks and shuts the door on Arsenal's interest in the Brazilian forward.
Real Madrid announced on August 6 that Vinícius Júnior has extended his contract through June 2032. The deal ends negotiations that had dragged on since after the 2022 World Cup.
The extension also rules out a departure for the forward, who had been approached by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. In a statement, the Spanish club called Vini one of the most important players in one of the most successful eras in its history.
The 26-year-old Flamengo academy product joined Madrid at 18 and has spent eight seasons at the club. In that span he has won two Champions League titles, in 2022 and 2024, scoring in both finals, and was named FIFA's The Best in 2024.
