Neymar could return sooner: Santos eyes comeback against Flamengo on October 8

Santos has improved its forecast for Neymar's return as he recovers from a muscle injury. According to the club's medical department, the star could be available for the bench against Flamengo on October 8, about ten days earlier than initially expected.

The previous estimate had him returning only for the match against Fluminense. Neymar has already started on-field work at the CT Rei Pelé training center in the transition phase and is progressing well.

Before that, Santos visit São Paulo at MorumBIS on Friday (2) at 8 p.m. local time in a rescheduled round-21 Brasileirão match.
