'Nobody stole anybody': MC Daniel confirms split from Lia Mendonça, denies cheating and 'ships' his ex with MC Poze — 'She likes you, she's just afraid of getting hurt'

The fling between MC Daniel, 28, and influencer Lia Mendonça, 20, from the state of Pará, was short-lived. On Wednesday (Oct. 7), about two months after the pair revealed they were getting to know each other, Lia said the breakup was calm and without fights: 'Today we remain friends, always with a lot of respect and affection.' In August she had already said they were not officially dating.

That same day, during a TikTok live, MC Poze do Rodo complimented the influencer: 'When someone gets a beautiful, perfect person and doesn't know how to value them, like you.' Lia replied that she had noticed positive changes in him but was wary: 'I don't get close anymore, because I don't know if you're the same person.' Poze said he wanted to prove in person that he had changed, and part of the internet began accusing Daniel and Poze of 'talaricagem', Brazilian slang for going after a friend's partner.

Daniel hit back in Instagram stories that were later deleted: 'Nobody's a talarico. We're all single, we're friends, there's no affair.' He noted that Poze and Lia have a long history, said he believes his fellow MC has matured and went further by tagging him: 'Poze, if you've changed, you two should date! She likes you, she's just afraid of getting hurt, tough guy.' So far, neither Lia nor Poze has confirmed any romance.
