Foto: divulgação/Prime Video via O TempoPrime Video released the trailer, poster and new stills for "Marília Mendonça: Sentimento Louco," a docuseries about the late sertanejo star premiering Oct. 16. It is directed by Susanna Lira.
The production drew on a massive personal archive — more than 530,000 images, 50,000 videos, plus notes, messages and voice memos — along with interviews with family, friends and collaborators. It follows the artist's path from Cristianópolis, in Goiás state, to the peak of her career.
The series is part of a broader package celebrating the legacy of the "Queen of Sofrência": an exhibition of the same name opens Oct. 9 at São Paulo's MIS museum, and a scripted feature film titled "Marília" is in development.
