The show is expected to be one of the duo's first major appearances after their career break. Jorge & Mateus have been off the road since their Carnival shows in Salvador in February, when they wrapped their 20th-anniversary tour to rest and spend time with family.
The party in Ceará's capital routinely draws huge crowds: the previous edition brought about 1.5 million people to the waterfront, according to the column. The lineup is also expected to include satellite stages in neighborhoods across the city.
