According to this unnamed person, Gisele 'always thought' she would stay married to the former quarterback for the rest of her life.
The source said the divorce was 'quite disruptive' and that Gisele struggled to understand what was happening at the time, but that she is not embittered. She remains grateful to Brady for their two children, Benjamin and Vivian, and for the years they shared, and believes the universe had other plans for her, the source added.
Gisele and Brady ended their 13-year marriage in 2022. After the split, the model began dating jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, with whom she had a son in February 2025. Neither Gisele nor Brady has publicly commented on the remarks.
