The sertanejo artist argued the Hospital de Amor donation is optional; Bruno, of Bruno & Marrone, had already jabbed at those who didn't give.

Singer Panda, known for hits like "Eu Te Seguro," said he received insults and threats on social media after choosing not to donate his Festa do Peão de Barretos performance fee to Hospital de Amor, a cancer hospital. Donating is a tradition among artists who play the festival.

At a press conference, he said no one is obligated to donate and noted he had already given about R$550,000 to the hospital that treated his son. The remarks didn't go over well with part of the public.

The topic had been simmering since the festival ended, when Bruno, of the duo Bruno & Marrone, remarked that not every artist had donated, without naming anyone. There is no indication his comment was aimed at Panda.
