Dakota Johnson caps the busiest week of her year on the 'Saturday Night Live' stage. She hosts the NBC show this Saturday, October 3, at 11:30 p.m. ET, also streaming on Peacock. It is her third time hosting, and it lands on the same weekend that 'Verity', the thriller she stars in with Anne Hathaway, tops the U.S. box office. On Sunday, October 4, Johnson turns 37.

The musical guest is Turnstile, the Baltimore hardcore band making its 'SNL' debut. In the promos, cast member Ben Marshall points out that it is the first hardcore act on the show since Fear, whose 1981 appearance went down in history for the chaos in the studio. Johnson says she is ready: 'I'm gonna form a wall of death,' she jokes, before asking the band members, who avoid eye contact, not to trash the set.

Turnstile arrives on a high: the group won Grammys for best rock album, for 'NEVER ENOUGH', and best metal performance, for 'BIRDS', and is on tour through mid-October. 'SNL' Season 52 kicked off on September 26 with Jalen Brunson and KATSEYE, and the next episode, on October 10, has Shane Gillis hosting with Rosalía as musical guest.
