'Nothing but good feelings about him': separated from her husband, Amanda Seyfried reunites with ex Dominic Cooper, 'Mamma Mia!''s Sky, 15 years after their split

Sophie and Sky meet again. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunited at the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York, where each was presenting a project: she was there for 'The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd'; he had the international premiere of 'The Lightkeeper'. The two met on the set of 'Mamma Mia!' in 2008, dated for more than three years and split in 2011.

Speaking to People, as reported by Just Jared, Seyfried said it was the first time they had seen each other 'in a long time' and described their current relationship as a 'familial, nice, soft kind of bond'. "Our lives are very different. We live in very different places and I just have nothing but good feelings about him," she said, adding: "He's hilarious."

The reunion comes weeks after U.S. outlets reported in September that Seyfried and actor Thomas Sadoski had separated after nine years of marriage. Cooper is in a relationship with actress Gemma Chan. The pair already shared the screen again in 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' (2018), and a third film still has no script: in a recent USA Today interview cited by Bustle, Seyfried said everyone is too busy and the challenge is figuring out 'how to get Meryl in there'.
