A Fazenda 18: at the Las Vegas party, Daniel calls Ana Bruna 'dangerous' and fans cry sexism; Mayk breaks down and makes peace with Maíra

Tuxedos, toasts and plenty of strategy: the Las Vegas-themed party on Friday (Oct. 9), the first since Renê's eviction, produced the weekend's controversy on Brazilian reality show A Fazenda 18. According to O Tempo's account, Alfredo and actor Daniel Erthal commented on Ana Bruna's body and outfit and implied she was trying to seduce someone. Daniel also criticized the way she handles hugs, saying she could seek closeness with a man and then complain, and later called her 'dangerous', the owner of a supposed 'seduction game'. On social media, the remarks were slammed as sexist. The actor also said he had kissed Renata and disliked her behavior, though he thinks she is a good kisser.

Meanwhile, the group nicknamed the Alcateia ('Wolf Pack') — Jottapê, Igor, Fran, Mônica, Rikardo and Thaíde — was doing the math for the next Roça, the show's eviction round. Jottapê told Mônica he is thinking of nominating Darlin and plans to confront her, and the group discussed courting Mayk, whom they see as genuine. Rikardo and Thaíde called it racist that Alfredo had labeled Thaíde a 'bandit', and Thaíde said he believes his rival is manipulating Eduarda. The lighter moment came from Mayk, who cried while talking to Maíra, thanked her for her care, said he regretted voting for her and made peace.

The party comes on the heels of strong numbers: Thursday night (Oct. 8), with Ariela and Thaíde returning from the Roça and Renê's exit, gave Record's reality show its best ratings of the season so far, averaging 6.4 points and a 14.3% share in Greater São Paulo, plus 4.3 points in Rio, according to GC Mais.
