'That dude right there, he is so cool': Jamie Foxx already has his replacement if 'The Jamie Foxx Show' gets a reboot — and it's IShowSpeed

Jamie Foxx is open to reviving 'The Jamie Foxx Show', the sitcom he led for five seasons from 1996 to 2001, and he already knows who would take over his role as aspiring star Jamie King: IShowSpeed. 'I like IShowSpeed. That dude right there, he is so cool,' the 58-year-old actor told Complex's Jillian Superstar.

Foxx made it clear a comeback depends on the audience: a reboot would only happen 'if it makes sense, you know, if that's what people want.' In the same conversation, he admitted he stays away from livestreaming. 'Old dudes don't really be knowing what they doing on there,' he joked, making an exception for Kevin Hart, who has hosted several streams and, in his view, doesn't count as an 'old dude.'

The interview promoted 'Take Care of Yourself', the actor's new special, which follows his 2024 stand-up 'What Happened Was.' For Speed, who has gone from YouTube phenomenon to red-carpet celebrity, it would be his first regular role on a TV series.
