A scream-proof home studio and shares in Cristiano Ronaldo's holding: inside Casimiro's empire
From a home rebuilt for 3 a.m. goal calls to trading his CazéTV stake for a global share of LiveMode, here's how the Brazilian streamer built his business.

To call and comment on overnight events without waking his family, the streamer turned a room into a broadcast hub with soundproofing designed for heavy voice use: thick doors, sealed gaps and geometric foam panels to cut echo. The gear includes professional cameras, adjustable lighting, an audio mixer, multiple monitors, high-performance computers and a reinforced internet connection, and by day the space works as an ordinary room.
Beyond the house, the business has grown far past a single channel. CazéTV was born in 2022 as a partnership between Casimiro and entrepreneurs Sergio Lopes and Edgar Diniz, former Esporte Interativo executives and founders of LiveMode. In November 2025, LiveMode bought the streamer's remaining 49% and took full ownership of the channel; in exchange, Casimiro became a partner in LiveMode Cayman, the group's international arm, in which General Atlantic and XP invested around R$440 million for just over 20%. His stake was not disclosed. Cristiano Ronaldo also became a shareholder in the international division, LiveModeTV.
The portfolio explains the scale: CazéTV holds streaming rights to Brazil's Série A, the Copa do Brasil, the World Cup, the Olympics and the Women's World Cup, shown free online and funded by advertising, sponsorships and commercial deals. In September, Casimiro denied leaving the channel's leadership after reports of a restructuring; he remains the face, and voice, of one of Brazil's biggest digital sports media businesses.
