Friday (Oct. 9) was reserved for press, industry visitors and premium pass holders, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. From Saturday (Oct. 10) through Monday (Oct. 12), a holiday in Brazil, the gates at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo open at noon and close at 9 p.m., according to Game Over Drive. In the ticket batch listed on Oct. 7, a single-day ticket cost R$224 (half price) for Saturday or Sunday and R$179 (half price) for Monday.
2. Three nights of orchestra. Producer Shota Nakama, who founded the Video Game Orchestra in 2008, leads three performances, all at 7 p.m. at the Arena Monster Energy on Oct. 10, 11 and 12. The plan is to play music from franchises like Metal Gear Solid and Chrono Trigger in arrangements that blend orchestra and rock. 'We are preparing three incredible shows,' he told Rolling Stone Brasil. Nakama will also join panels and fan meet-and-greets.
3. A fighting game final on Saturday. The same arena hosts, on Oct. 10, the final of Brazil's official MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls tournament, the 4-vs-4 fighter from Arc System Works with PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games. Eight players who came through online qualifiers compete for the title, and the champion takes home a DualSense Edge controller, according to Fast Company Brasil.
4. International guests and a flood of creators. Besides Nakama, the show lists names such as Al Hope, Archie Whitehead and Kenji Kanno among its guests. The official creator list published by Canaltech runs past 100 names, from Ana Diebs and Bia Tsuuki to Gordox and Fred Mascarenhas, and organizers note others may show up on their own. 5. Plan ahead: SEGA's booth is twice the size it was in 2025, and Nintendo, Square Enix and PlayStation have activations across the hall, which usually means long lines.
