The English singer is the first artist from England to win the category since One Direction in 2012.
English singer Sienna Spiro won Best New Artist at the 2026 VMAs, ahead of Bella Kay, Cortis, Magnus Ferrell, Malcolm Todd, Myles Smith and Stella Lefty.
She is the first English act to win the category since One Direction in 2012. “I didn’t think this would happen. I actually can’t believe this,” she said in her speech.
The same night she performed “Great Expectation” at the Peacock Theater. On the red carpet she wore Valentino with Chopard jewelry.
