Rumor: Drake reportedly on Coachella's radar for 2027, nearly ten years after his last festival appearance

Drake could be heading back to Coachella. According to HITS Daily Double, a music-industry trade publication, the Canadian rapper is 'in the Coachella discussion' for next year's festival. HotNewHipHop picked up the report on Friday (Oct. 2), and for now it remains a rumor: neither Drake nor the festival has commented.

HITS mentioned the possible booking while discussing the star's current moment, as he dominates the conversation again with the project tied to 'FOMO', the 'not so short film' whose songs just hit streaming. Drake also has a tour announced for 2027.

If it happens, it would be a symbolic return: Drake's last Coachella appearance was in 2017, as a guest during Future's set. Before that, he headlined in 2015 and appeared during Jhené Aiko's set in 2014.
