Luísa Sonza dives into bossa nova on “Bossa Sempre Nova” with Roberto Menescal and Toquinho

The January project pairs her with two legends of the genre and set up her April album “Brutal Paraíso”.

Luísa Sonza opened 2026 with “Bossa Sempre Nova”, a bossa nova project featuring Roberto Menescal and Toquinho.

It came ahead of her fifth album, “Brutal Paraíso”, released in April, which kept bossa references alongside funk, pop and electronic music.
