'Mamiii, go get that #1': after more than 38 days atop Spotify's Global chart with 'Bby WOW,' Karol G roots for Slovakia's Adéla, runner-up with 'Nicole Kidman' — and hears 'I love you' back from the stage
The Colombian star shared her closest chart rival's song on her stories, and Adéla thanked her during a show in Los Angeles.

On Friday afternoon (Oct. 9), the Colombian posted a clip of 'Nicole Kidman' by Slovak singer Adéla on her Instagram stories, captioned 'Mamiii, go get that #1.' The track, from the debut album 'Prima,' had spent weeks at No. 2 on Spotify's Global chart — right behind 'Bby WOW,' Karol G's song with Judeline and Rusowsky.
According to Infobae, 'Bby WOW' has logged more than 38 straight days as the most-streamed song in the world on the platform, surpassing the 37 days of Shakira's 'Dai Dai.' Adéla reposted the message with an 'I love u Karol G' and, at her show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, part of the 'Prima' tour, thanked her on stage: she said it was 'crazy' to get that kind of recognition from people she considers idols, that she would 'cry later' at home, and asked the crowd to help push the song up the chart.
Born in Bratislava in 2003, Adéla first gained attention in 2023 on 'Dream Academy,' the HYBE x Geffen reality show that formed KATSEYE, where she was among the first contestants eliminated. Now signed to Capitol Records, she is booked for Festival Estéreo Picnic 2027 in Bogotá, March 19–21, her first visit to Colombia.
