ARMY camps out overnight: BTS plays Colombia for the first time ever tonight, kicking off a run that ends in São Paulo
More than 400 fans slept outside El Campín ahead of the first of two sold-out nights for 53,000 people each, opening the Latin American leg of the 'Arirang' tour.

From 11 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 1), BTS fans showed up with tents, blankets and sleeping bags around Bogotá's El Campín Stadium, and by around midnight there were roughly 400 of them, according to Infobae — even though event rules ban camping. On Friday (Oct. 2), the septet takes a Colombian stage for the first time, and both nights, tonight and Saturday, are sold out, with more than 53,000 people expected at each.
Gates open at 4 p.m. local time and the show is set for 8 p.m., expected to run just over two hours. The city has set up a special operation: streets around the stadium closed through Sunday, extra TransMilenio routes for the exit and a banned-items list that includes umbrellas, professional cameras and bags larger than 30 x 30 cm. Ahead of the shows, the group had already been declared 'guests of honor' of the capital.
Bogotá is just the beginning: the 'Arirang' tour plays 14 stadium shows in five countries in October — Lima (7, 9 and 10), Santiago (14, 16 and 17), Buenos Aires (21, 23 and 24) and, closing the month, São Paulo (28, 30 and 31). According to Latin Times, BTS is the first Korean act to headline El Campín, and the tour is already the highest-grossing in Korean pop history.
