The series brings Paul Bettany back as Vision and James Spader again as Ultron, closing the trilogy that began with 'WandaVision' and continued with 'Agatha All Along'.
The first social reactions were celebratory. Decider called it 'a genuine love letter to WandaVision fans' and said Spader's Ultron is exactly what it needed; ComicBookMovie's Josh Wilding wrote that 'Bettany & Spader are magnetic'; and The Direct's Aeron Eclarinal declared it Marvel Studios' best series of 2026. Some even called it a 'near-perfect conclusion'.
It wasn't unanimous: Agents of Fandom's TJ Zwarych praised the cast's chemistry but warned that it 'drags a bit in the middle'. With Terry Matalas at the helm and Emily Hampshire in the cast, 'VisionQuest' premieres on Disney+ on October 14.
