Anyone who grew up waking early to watch cartoons on Globo has a date this Saturday (Oct. 10). TV Globinho, off the schedule for 11 years, returns in a special edition starting at 9 a.m., right after the first part of 'É de Casa'. Confirmed on the lineup are 'Dragon Ball Z', 'Digimon' and 'Totally Spies!' ('Três Espiãs Demais'), classics from the golden age of the network's children's programming.

The hosts are faces who defined the show: Geovanna Tominaga, Letícia Colin, currently on air as Pilar in 'Quem Ama Cuida', Ícaro Silva and Paulo Mathias Jr. Tia Milena, a former 'BBB 26' contestant, joins as special reporter. According to the announcement, it is a new TV Globinho designed for a single broadcast — Globo has not committed to bringing the show back to its regular schedule.

The special opens the Maratona da Esperança, which fills the schedule from October 10 to 12 and ends with the Show da Esperança on Monday, Brazil's Children's Day. The 2026 edition of Criança Esperança, a Globo campaign with UNESCO running since 1986, has the theme 'Protecting Children's Future' and leans on childhood nostalgia to draw attention to the rights of children and adolescents.
