'Reacher' renewed for Season 6 at Prime Video

Prime Video confirmed on Monday (Sept. 28) that 'Reacher' will get a sixth season, less than two weeks after Season 4 wrapped. The series, starring Alan Ritchson, adapts one Lee Child novel per season.

Season 5 is already in production in Toronto and will adapt 'Make Me', the 20th Reacher novel. According to Amazon, 66 million people watched at least part of Season 4 within its first 28 days.

The renewal puts 'Reacher' level with 'Invincible' at six confirmed seasons, behind only 'Bosch' among Prime Video's longest-running scripted series. 'Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher,' Amazon executive Peter Friedlander said in the announcement.
