MasterChef Celebrity premieres in Argentina with Wanda Nara, Luck Ra and its first clash

The new season of MasterChef Celebrity premiered on Argentina's Telefe, with Wanda Nara introducing the 24 celebrity contestants. The judges remain Damián Betular, Germán Martitegui and Maru Botana, and the prize is 70 million pesos plus the trophy.

The cast mixes music, TV and sports: singer Luck Ra, Alejandro Lerner, radio host Elizabeth 'Negra' Vernaci, actor Diego Ramos and former footballer Pablo Migliore are all in. Luck Ra returns to the show after previously appearing as a stand-in for his ex, La Joaqui.

The premiere already had friction: Martitegui and Vernaci traded barbs, with the judge snapping 'this isn't a radio show'. Wanda made clear whose side she's on: 'I'm with the contestants. With the jury, it's a separate war.'
