Lindsay Lohan reunites with 'Mean Girls' director for Netflix romance

Foto: Getty ImagesLindsay Lohan will star in and produce 'Return to You', a new Netflix romantic comedy. The film reunites her with director Mark Waters, who guided her through two 2000s classics: 'Freaky Friday' and 'Mean Girls'.
In the story, an attorney mistakenly receives an emotional DVD recorded by a dying woman for her husband, played by Henry Golding. Using only the clues in the video, she sets out to find him.
Waters said the collaboration grew out of a recent get-together: 'We did say it would be fun to find an excuse to do something together.' It is Lohan's latest Netflix project after 'Falling for Christmas', 'Irish Wish' and 'Our Little Secret'.
