Faustão on Record? Gugu's son says he tried to bring the TV icon and his son João Silva to his 'Domingo Espetacular' segment: 'It would be unprecedented'

Picture Gugu Liberato's son interviewing Faustão's son — with Faustão alongside — on Record on a Sunday. That is exactly what João Augusto Liberato tried. He said on 'A Tarde É Sua' and on Sonia Abrão's 'Roda da Fofoca' that he sought João Silva for 'Filhos de Quem', his new segment on 'Domingo Espetacular', but hit one condition: 'We were trying to get João Silva, but it would have to include Faustão'.

According to João Augusto, the host's participation became the obstacle, since he is dealing with many issues. Even so, the invitation is still open: 'We keep trying, it would be something unprecedented and really cool'. The segment premieres this Sunday, October 11, telling the stories of people who built their own careers despite having famous parents.

The meeting would carry history: Gugu and Faustão were direct Sunday-afternoon rivals for decades. Faustão, who went through a delicate health period and transplants in recent years, is doing well, according to the report, but keeps a low profile and has avoided interviews and TV appearances.
