According to the newspaper Correio, the 25-year-old actor has been cast as the romantic lead of a new Globo telenovela expected to bring back the 11 p.m. slot. The working title is 'Mentiras Sinceras' ('Sincere Lies'). The report comes from behind-the-scenes information and has not been officially confirmed by the network, so it should be treated as a rumor.
Also according to the outlet, the show is written by Ricardo Linhares, who may share credit with Cristianne Fridman, known at Record for 'Chamas da Vida' and 'Topíssima'. The premiere is reportedly planned for April 2027, right after 'BBB 27' ends.
If confirmed, it would be Bragança's second lead role in a row; he played João Raul, the protagonist of 'Coração Acelerado', in the 7 p.m. slot. The paper also says the actor is single after a recent breakup with Ramille, his co-star in that telenovela, without giving further details.
