A draw held right after the CBLOL final on Saturday (10) paired the Brazilian team with MVK Esports, representing the LCP, the Pacific region's league, in the first round of the Entry Stage. The other match will be Cloud9, from the United States, against Karmine Corp, from Europe. According to Mais Esports, the draw had no seeding and no regional restrictions.
The stage will be played at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles from October 15 to 18, with matches starting at 3 p.m. Brasília time. Every series is a best-of-five in a double-elimination bracket: the loser of the first match drops to the lower bracket, and a second defeat means elimination. Only the winner of the four-team bracket moves on to the Swiss Stage. The match order and FURIA's match day have not been set yet.
LOS, which beat FURIA 3–2 in the CBLOL second-split final, already has a direct spot in the Swiss Stage as Brazil's first seed. If FURIA gets through the Entry Stage, Brazil will have two teams among the 16 in the next phase; if it falls, LOS will carry the country's hopes alone at Worlds.
