LOUD are on a roll at Valorant Champions 2026, the game's world championship, in Shanghai. In the upper-bracket quarterfinals, the Brazilian team dispatched Paper Rex 2-0 — coming from behind on both maps, as the Asian side led at halftime on both Split and Sunset. The first ended 13-9; the second, LOUD's pick, was only settled in overtime, 15-13.

The standout was lukxo, who topped the team's combat score on both maps (282 on Split and 293 on Sunset), alongside erde, tkzin, Darker and DaviH. Since their group-stage loss to Team Vitality, which forced a decider against Global Esports, LOUD have won four maps in a row.

Next up is NRG, who also swept their quarterfinal by beating T1 2-0. The match decides a place in the upper final and is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 10) at 6 a.m. Brasília time — hours before the CBLOL final in Rio. The tournament awards $2.25 million in prize money, with $1 million for the champion, and the grand final takes place on October 18.
