On Saturday night (Oct. 10) at Arena Carioca 1 in Rio de Janeiro, they beat FURIA 3-2 in a series that see-sawed from start to finish: LOS took games 1, 3 and 5, while FURIA equalized twice, in games 2 and 4. It was payback for the Split 1 final, which FURIA had won 3-1 against the same opponent.
Baron decided the night. In game 1, a risky FURIA invade on the objective ended in a lost fight that handed LOS both Baron and the Soul. In game 3, led by Curse, LOS built a lead of more than 6,000 gold before the 20-minute mark. In the decider FURIA started stronger, but lost the Dragon fight and then the Baron fight, giving up four kills; Duduhh, named Rookie of the Year before the final, ramped up his damage in the bot lane and LOS pushed mid all the way to the Nexus.
It is the organization's second Brazilian title; it traces back to Team oNe, champions of the 2017 second split. With the trophy, LOS go straight into the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage, which starts Oct. 23 in Allen, Texas, while FURIA, runners-up for the first time, open in the Play-In starting Oct. 15 in Los Angeles. Before Worlds, LOS still play the promotion series for CBLOL 2027 on Monday (Oct. 12) at 6 p.m. Brasília time. The night featured an opening show by rapper Ebony and a showmatch in which Sucata beat Ilha das Lendas 19-7.
