Store closed just for them: Kanye West spends 'thousands upon thousands' on Pokémon cards with his kids

Kanye West swapped the studio for an afternoon of collecting. On Wednesday (30), LA Sports Cards, a card shop in Burbank, California, closed its doors to host the rapper and his kids for a private shopping session dedicated to Pokémon cards.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Ye spent 'thousands upon thousands' of dollars on the outing, while the excited kids opened pack after pack. The store later posted photos of him with employees on Instagram, writing: 'Always a pleasure having you. Thank you so much for stopping by!'

The family is already familiar at the counter: Kim Kardashian, Kanye's ex-wife, is a regular at the same store and often buys packs for the couple's children; on one of those visits, one of them pulled a rare Kyogre card.
