A surprise Prime Video movie, a fashion week label and 1 million paid subs: inside Kai Cenat's empire

At 24, the Brooklyn streamer is now a movie star, a clothing brand owner and the dean of his own creator 'university'.

Kai Cenat is no longer just the livestream guy. On September 30, Amazon quietly dropped 'Livestream From Hell' on Prime Video, a 77-minute horror comedy in which he, Druski and Kevin Hart play themselves: a stream at Hart's high-tech mansion turns into a real murder mystery. Directed by David Janoff, the film features Sexyy Red, Marshawn Lynch, La La Anthony, Winnie Harlow and Kel Mitchell, and Cenat is among its producers.

Two weeks earlier, on September 12, he took Vivet, the label he launched in January after traveling to Italy to learn sewing and follow production, to its first New York Fashion Week show. Lauryn Hill, DDG and PlaqueBoyMax were in the audience, and Duke Dennis of AMP walked the runway. The brand pitches a 'collective journey' built on discipline, knowledge and faith.

The foundation is still the audience. Born in Brooklyn in 2001, Cenat became the first streamer to pass 1 million paid Twitch subscriptions, during Mafiathon 3 in September 2025, and already had more than 21 million followers on the platform. In July he ran the second Streamer University at Hendrix College in Arkansas, a boot camp for aspiring creators. The empire comes with noise, though: this week he said he will sue Reggie, a former friend who made serious accusations against him online.
