Jason and Lucia take Brooklyn: giant GTA 6 mural repeats GTA 5 ritual and hints at final marketing push
The artwork appeared on the same Williamsburg corner Rockstar used in 2013, seven weeks before launch.
Foto: Rockstar Games/DivulgaçãoA huge mural featuring Jason and Lucia, GTA 6's protagonists, is being painted at the corner of Wythe Avenue and North 11th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The artwork, spotted by fans on Reddit, shows the Grand Theft Auto logo, palm trees and the armed duo. Rockstar hasn't commented officially, but the spot is no accident: it is exactly where the company painted its GTA 5 mural in 2013.
Back then, the mural went up just weeks before launch and kicked off a wave of ads across New York. That's why the community sees the new piece as a sign GTA 6's final campaign has begun, with fans already speculating that new gameplay footage or even another trailer could arrive in October. For now, that's fan speculation.
What is confirmed is the date: GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This week, the Rockstar Store also opened pre-orders for a $399.99 Vice City collector's box with 11 items, including a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses and a New Era cap. The game is sold separately.
