The title is no accident. According to the promotion, the record dives into Yuqi's thoughts and emotions as she turns 27 and compares the worries hidden behind her ever-sunny image to sunflowers — flowers that follow the light but keep a less visible side. Its core message is self-acceptance and self-love.
The release continues the solo career the Chinese singer has been building alongside her Cube Entertainment group, one of K-pop's most popular girl groups.
