U2 are paying tribute to Rosalía on their next album. 'Carnaval De Luz,' due Nov. 13, will include the track 'The Mirror Maker (Rosalía),' according to Bono, who called the Spanish star an extraordinary artist.

The frontman said the band drew inspiration from Rosalía's 2025 album 'Lux,' which shares U2's focus on light and the re-enchantment of the world. The song has been in the works since 2017 and reached its 196th version with producer Jacknife Lee. Bono joked it's a little embarrassing that she got so popular before they released it.

He also said he reached out to Rosalía through mutual friend Penélope Cruz to get her approval first. The album's closing track, 'Torn,' features Dolly Parton's final vocal performance.
