The project blends the pagode that made the singer famous with soul, R&B, jazz and Afrobeat influences. Doors open at 8 p.m., the show starts at 10 p.m. and entry is restricted to people 18 and over.
The planned setlist has 33 songs spanning his solo career and his years with Exaltasamba, including classics such as 'Tá Vendo Aquela Lua', 'Ousadia e Alegria', 'Ainda Bem' and 'A Fila Anda'. According to Billboard Brasil, the repertoire also includes reinterpretations of other artists who fit Thiaguinho's musical identity. The idea is to present pagode in a more sophisticated package without giving up the hits fans sing from start to finish.
Tickets, now in their third batch, are sold through Ticket360. General floor costs R$110 to R$220, tables range from R$190 to R$480 depending on the sector, and boxes go for R$380 to R$480. For those heading to the polls on Sunday (4), the first round of Brazil's election, it is worth remembering the party is set to run late into the night.
