SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan and Joshua on Friday (Oct. 9) opened the door to 'DREAMSCAPE,' the duo's first mini album. At midnight in Korea, HYBE Labels' YouTube channel and the group's social accounts posted a sampler with snippets of all seven tracks, which arrive in full on Oct. 19.

Title track '12 o'clock,' co-written and composed by BUMZU, is described as a dance rock song that reworks 1970s and 1980s disco and funk with a modern sheen. B-side 'No looking back' leans into a band sound with raw guitars, and each member gets a solo moment: Joshua blends expansive rock, funky grooves and alt-pop on 'Not personal,' while Jeonghan goes dreamy and atmospheric on 'Coloring.' The R&B soul of 'One plus one,' the house of 'Like you' and the easygoing 'Outside' round out the record.

Visually, a creature covered in extravagant feathers circles the two, a nod to the Ouroboros myth of the serpent eating its own tail; at the start and the end, the pair run toward an unknown destination, closing the loop that sets the album's tone. The duo will also take the project to the stage with 'DREAMING,' a concert set for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
