Rumor: feud with her father puts Tini's U.S. and Mexico shows at risk — and the man behind the Emilia rift gets a name
Argentine journalists cite stalled visas, fewer dancers and slow ticket sales; Ángel de Brito points to producer Pancho Cia as the center of the split with Emilia.
Foto: Aire de Santa FeIt's another turbulent week for Tini Stoessel, at least according to Argentina's gossip press. On the show 'La Mañana con Moria', journalist Gustavo Méndez claimed that her family conflict with her father, Alejandro Stoessel, is hurting the international tour: for the U.S. concert scheduled for October 18, the number of dancers was reportedly cut from 12 to 6 because of work-visa problems, and visas for the technical crew are still unresolved. According to him, Alejandro and a business partner still run production and sales for that date, and the lack of communication is complicating the paperwork.
Méndez also said the Mexico concert on October 25 is in jeopardy, especially the second date, which allegedly took a month to be added and is selling slowly. Neither Tini nor her team has confirmed or cancelled any show so far, and the claims remain unconfirmed.
Meanwhile, Ángel de Brito put a name to the alleged trigger of the fight between Tini and Emilia Mernes: Pancho Cia, a musician and producer who had worked with Tini since her 'Violetta' days. 'It's not a romance, it's not about money, it's much deeper,' the TV host said, suggesting something serious happened between the two and that Emilia hired Cia anyway. The breaking point allegedly came when Tini, a guest on the MP3 Tour, found the musician on stage without warning. Neither singer has commented on this version.
