'This war is bizarre': MC Mirella cries after São Paulo LGBTQ+ club cancels her show over her support for Flávio Bolsonaro

The funk singer was pulled from the Terraço Club lineup, where she was due to perform Saturday (Oct. 10), and says she is being attacked by the funk scene itself.

MC Mirella's Saturday (Oct. 10) show at Terraço Club, a São Paulo venue aimed at the LGBTQIAPN+ crowd, has been canceled. The organizers' decision came amid backlash over the singer's declared support for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), a presidential candidate in Brazil's runoff. The venue did not publicly detail its reasons, but removed her from the lineup.

Fans who bought tickets specifically to see Mirella can request a refund through the ticketing platform; those who keep their tickets will see a replacement act that night.

On Thursday (Oct. 8), the singer and content creator appeared in tears on Instagram, saying she is being targeted by the funk movement itself. 'Discussing things calmly, making points, that's one thing. But being stuck in this war… guys, it's bizarre,' she said.
