María Becerra explains why she skipped Lali's River show: 'Rehearsals — I have Uruguay in two days'
The Argentine star says she was tied up rehearsing for the Quimera Tour opener, which kicks off Friday (Oct. 2) at Montevideo's Antel Arena on a 360° stage.

Asked by fans, the singer was blunt: 'No, I couldn't because I'm rehearsing. You know I have Uruguay in two days. The Quimera Tour starts.' She also admitted she was dying to go.
The explanation cools speculation that her absence had personal motives. According to Becerra, the reason was purely professional: she had not performed this show since her own River concert and needed hours of preparation.
The tour for 'Quimera' — a 17-track album with collaborations from El Alfa, Paulo Londra and Tini herself — opens this Friday (Oct. 2) at the Antel Arena in Montevideo, with a 360° in-the-round stage and heavy audiovisual production. It marks her return to the Uruguayan capital after a 2024 show that drew 20,000 people to the Rambla del Parque Rodó.
