Stray Kids' Han's song hit streaming under another artist's name before its official release — and JYP went to a U.S. court to find out who did it
JYP Entertainment has asked a California court to make distributor Symphonic reveal who uploaded 'Back to Life,' Han's self-written track, under the name 'New Vibs.'

According to a report published Friday (Oct. 9), the label filed a request on Sept. 4 with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California asking that Symphonic Distribution identify the user behind the upload. The track is 'Back to Life,' written and composed by Han himself.
The timeline explains the company's frustration: the song was first previewed in a video on Stray Kids' official channel on May 9. On May 20, before the official release, JYP had already filed a copyright complaint with Symphonic because the track was circulating on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Apple Music and other services credited to someone called 'New Vibs.' The official single only came out on June 11.
In the filing, backed by a sworn declaration from a label representative, JYP seeks the name, address, phone number, email, internet access records, payment details and account change history of the person responsible. Symphonic told TorrentFreak it removed the track from all services and terminated the account shortly after the May complaint, and that it has not heard from JYP since. There is no court ruling yet, but the move suggests the agency may pursue further legal action against whoever was behind it.
