Iván Noble, former frontman of Caballeros de la Quema, has made peace with a genre Argentine rock used to snub. In an interview with Infobae, he said he now sings 'Mi historia entre tus dedos', a hit by Italian singer Gianluca Grignani, and admitted that back then, those who played rock felt 'a little embarrassed' by such songs. His taste for Italian ballads, he said, came from his mother, who listened to them when he was a child.

His version was born from a one-off performance at a party and ended up making its way into his regular shows, until it became a studio recording. In the same conversation, Noble talked about his 20-year-old son, Benito, from his relationship with actress Julieta Ortega. The young man is studying Physical Education to become a personal trainer and has started working in show production alongside his grandfather and, sometimes, his father.

On his love life, the singer was self-deprecating: he said that, more than inexperienced, he has always been 'clumsy'. Asked whether he is a good ex, he deflected and suggested the question be put to her, but argued that children need to grow up seeing their parents treat each other with affection. Noble has shows scheduled for October 17 at Teatro Metro in La Plata, and on November 6 and 13 at La Trastienda in San Telmo, Buenos Aires.
