A blessing at Christ the Redeemer, four dresses and 'La Vie en Rose' at the groom's request: inside Giulia Be's three-day wedding to a Kennedy heir in Rio
The 27-year-old 'Menina Solta' singer is marrying 32-year-old Conor Kennedy in a Thursday-to-Saturday marathon that takes in Christ the Redeemer, a historic downtown church and a mansion in Jardim Botânico.

Giulia Be, 27, and Conor Kennedy, 32, kicked off a three-day program on Thursday (Oct. 8) that runs through Saturday (Oct. 10). It opened with a welcome reception for guests, many of whom flew in from the United States.
The itinerary is full of postcard stops. Conor's family will gather at Christ the Redeemer for a blessing of the two families — according to Vagalume, the first time the Kennedy clan has met at the monument. The religious ceremony is set for the Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé church downtown, and the main party takes place at a mansion in Jardim Botânico.
The details set the tone: a custom-made statue of Our Lady, a sweets table and even a Havaianas cloakroom for guests who want to dance barefoot late into the night. There will be four wedding dresses — back in September, the singer joked online about boarding a plane 'with 4 wedding dresses, two bags and a carry-on.' And the party is expected to run long: 'Over there, weddings end very early,' she said of American celebrations.
The bride is also part of the entertainment. 'He asked me to sing La Vie en Rose,' Giulia told Quem magazine, adding that she plans to include at least two songs she wrote about Conor and calling the mix 'a big cultural mess' she can't wait to stir up. The couple has been together since 2022, announced their engagement in August 2024 and made their civil union official in March this year in an intimate, family-only ceremony in Los Angeles.
