The singer is 90 and turns 91 on October 31. The song was written by Pernambuco pianist and composer Zé Manoel together with Ronaldo Bastos, the lyricist tied to the Clube da Esquina movement and author of classics such as 'Fé Cega, Faca Amolada' and 'Cais'. The mood is dancefloor-ready.
'Bem Feliz' opens 'O Mundo É Ruim pra Quem Não Sabe Esperar' ('The World Is Tough for Those Who Can't Wait'), the first album of Claudette's career made up entirely of previously unreleased songs. It is due in November, a few weeks after her birthday, produced by Thiago Rabello and Marcus Preto.
On the recording, Débora Gurgel plays Rhodes piano, Fábio Sá handles bass and synths, Conrado Goys plays guitars, and Rabello himself takes on drums, percussion and synths. The singer started early: at 10 she was already performing professionally on children's radio shows, and she now has some eight decades in music.
