With fireworks, a long catwalk and lines in Spanish, BTS made their Peru debut on Wednesday night at Estadio San Marcos, with two more Lima dates to go.

The show kicked off around 8 p.m. with fireworks and the stadium lights going dark as all seven members — RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — walked down a long catwalk. They opened with 'Hooligan,' from the 2026 album 'ARIRANG,' followed by 'Aliens' and 'Run BTS.' According to Infobae, the concert ran about three hours in a packed stadium, with a line stretching more than a kilometer outside since early in the day.
The moments fans shared most were the members speaking Spanish. Jung Kook opened with 'Good evening, Lima, it's our first time in Lima,' Jimin admitted the group 'took a long time to come,' and Jin repeated his tour catchphrase: 'I'm ready, BTS is ready. Is ARMY ready?' V went further, calling the crowd 'causas,' Peruvian slang for friends, and saying he ate ceviche and that 'the sweet potato was delicious.' RM confessed, per RPP, that the members are 'very tired' and haven't been sleeping well because of fan noise outside their hotel.
The setlist also included 'They Don't Know 'Bout Us' and 'Merry Go Round,' both from 'ARIRANG,' and fans lit up their ARMY Bombs before the group even took the stage. City officials stepped up security and cleared street vendors blocking access routes, and no serious incidents were reported. BTS return to San Marcos on Friday (Oct. 9) and Saturday (Oct. 10); the Lima Chamber of Commerce estimates around 118,000 people across the three nights. The Latin American leg still includes Argentina and wraps in São Paulo.
