YouTube now lets creators react live to other creators' long-form videos
The Watch With feature expands to long-form videos and livestreams; original creators get view credit and can opt out.

Tapping “React live” on eligible content starts a real-time reaction, in a format similar to TikTok's duet.
According to Tubefilter, reactors keep the ad revenue and channel membership earnings from their streams. Original creators receive clear attribution and view credit in YouTube Studio, though it is still unclear whether that means AdSense revenue or full views.
The feature is on by default for all creator-made long-form videos and livestreams, and anyone who does not want to take part can turn it off in YouTube Studio settings. It touches a sensitive nerve in the creator community, which has debated the limits of reaction content for years.
